Job Summary
Paint base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats while blending adjacent panels and performing paint corrections on vehicles. Match and mix paint colors using water-based paint in state-of-the-art booths within our high-tech Inspection Centers. This role requires 5 years of professional automotive painting experience and the ability to physically operate tools, lift up to 60 pounds, and work in fast-paced production environments with potential exposure to heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required to meet business needs and deliver vehicles on time.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience
- highly skilled in painting (base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats)
- blending adjacent panels
- paint correcting vehicles
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- work mandatory overtime based on our business needs
