Job Summary
Experienced Associate in Guggenheim Securities’ Structured Products Origination (SPO) team. Work directly with senior professionals across SPO transactions, focusing on non-traditional and emerging asset classes. Responsibilities include portfolio and historical data analysis, preparing marketing presentations and term sheets, developing securitization cash flow models, aligning cash flow and collateral characteristics with accountants and other parties, reviewing transaction documentation, and conducting market research. Requires strong quantitative skills, advanced Excel modeling with VBA familiarity, and solid written/verbal communication. Role is based in the New York office with a base salary in the $175,000–$225,000 range; total compensation may include incentive components. Core exposure to securitization, asset-backed securities (ABS), CLOs, and related structuring activities; opportunities to develop managerial, marketing, sales, analytical, presentation, and communication skills within a long-term career at the firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- SIE, Series 7, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment
- Experience with cash flow modeling of ABS, CLO or other securitized products
- Strong quantitative skills; Microsoft Excel modeling; VBA familiarity
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, able to multitask and work in a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
