Job Summary
Support financial analyses, advisory transactions, and highlight key takeaways for M&A and capital markets clients in the facility, utility, and infrastructure sectors. Oversee diligence, research, and documentation for potential and live transactions while anticipating deal challenges and elevating concerns in real time. Lead development of marketing memoranda, diligence exhibits, and transaction artifacts, and actively participate in client meetings and drafting sessions. Drive creation of strategic frameworks and tools to aid business development, and build relationships through dialogue with client finance and accounting teams. Mentor junior analysts and interns, providing continuous feedback to improve work product quality while ensuring all activity remains compliant with firm rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of experience or an MBA with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in IB Sell-side advisory experience, including successful track record of closed M&A transactions
- SIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment
- Currently, this role is expected to be in the Chicago office at least 4 days per week
