Job Summary
Experienced Associate in Accounting & Finance Managed Services at PwC Greece, Athens. Manage Accounting, Finance and Tax Compliance Outsourcing activities to clients and have overall responsibility for the accounting process. Prepare and review statutory financial statements under Greek GAAP and IFRS; prepare and review corporate tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding tax); handle bookkeeping and financial reporting to clients’ management; advise clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements. Requires 2-4 years of professional experience, strong knowledge of Greek GAAP and IFRS, ability to work with multiple accounts, and excellent English and Greek language skills. Hybrid working model.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) to four (4) years of professional experience in a relevant role.
- Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign top-tier university.
- Strong knowledge of Tax and Accounting legislation; participation in Long Term Accounting and Tax seminars will be considered an asset.
- Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters.
- Sound knowledge of Greek GAAP and experience in IFRS.
- Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in English and Greek.
