Job Summary
Deals Advisory role at PwC focusing on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital projects management. Responsibilities include providing strategic advice and supporting clients through complex transactions, coordinating stakeholders and resources, and applying project management skills to large-scale deals. Requires 1-3 years of transaction advisory experience, a degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance (or a professional accounting qualification), knowledge of IFRS and relevant Malaysian regulations, financial due diligence experience, corporate finance knowledge, and strong written and presentation skills. Based in Kuching, Malaysia, with a emphasis on cross-border and diverse teams and advisory services from strategy to execution.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant transaction advisory services experience post qualification
- Experience in financial due diligence
- Strong external audit background
- Knowledge of M&A activities
- Degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance or professional accounting qualification
- Working knowledge of IFRS, Malaysian Companies’ Act 1965 and Code of Mergers and Takeovers
- Knowledge in corporate finance (e.g. listing rules, financial modelling)
- Excellent written communications
- Excellent presentation skills
