Job Summary
Research client businesses and maintain a strong understanding of their operations. Assist with creating financial statements, including customized note disclosures, and identify accounting issues to develop work plans with Senior Associates. Perform assigned assurance procedures under supervision, prepare corporate tax returns as needed, and formulate questions to test reporting information. Respond promptly to clients while collaborating on audit, client service, and review engagements. This role supports a collaborative team at Fuller Landau, an accounting, tax, and advisory firm serving private businesses and high net worth families.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Canadian CPA designation
- Completion of a Bachelors degree majoring in Accounting, Commerce or Business
- Under two (2) years experience with a public accounting firm focused on assurance accounting and tax
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of CaseWare and TaxPrep is an asset
