Job Summary
Drive to drilling sites across the UK and Europe to support the Lead Driller in completing drilling projects. Set up and advance boreholes using a range of drilling equipment, collect ground samples, and monitor installed machinery. Ensure site safety by following H&S procedures and managing ad hoc duties. Travel to locations Monday through Friday, with single accommodation and travel expenses provided. Receive on-the-job training from day one, including enrollment in an NVQ after probation, to progress toward a qualified Lead Driller. A valid UK driving license held for at least 12 months is required.
Required Qualifications
- Clean and valid UK driving licence, held for at least 12 months
- A driving license is essential
- Ability to stay away from home Monday-Friday
- Basic IT Skills
Desired Qualifications
- A background of education or working in a labour-intensive role such as ex-military, construction, or agriculture
- CSCS
- SPA/PIA
- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
