Job Summary
Oversee technical drafting processes, enforce quality control standards, and manage deliverables to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Produce construction drawings for modular buildings, read architectural plans for accuracy, and generate Revit models converted to framed elements via Strucsoft/MWF. Create shop drawings for framing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression operations while managing plan submittals for local and state governments. Print and distribute plans for production and office use, handling updates and revisions as requested. Subcontract work with engineering firms as needed. Work Monday through Friday with overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- Team experience
- 5 years plus CAD experience
- solid background in building design
- Proficiency in the latest versions of AutoCAD / Revit, Sketchup, MS Office programs
- General knowledge of plan reading and framing
- Experience working with architectural production drawings
