Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs in both occupied and vacant units, including make-ready work, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. Complete work orders for current residents while providing exceptional customer service, and assist with troubleshooting routine electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues. Maintain grounds, including pools and snow removal, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area. This full-time position in Wichita, Kansas requires an on-call rotation with additional bonus pay, valid driver's license, and own basic tools. Supervisory experience is required, with potential for a supervisor role.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience
- Supervisory experience
- Must have your own basic tools
- Able to use a smartphone or IPAD
- Physical demands include constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis
- Time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize work
- Successfully complete background and drug screening
- Ability to work an On Call rotation
- Reliable transportation
- A valid driver's license
