Job Summary
Validation engineer for algorithm and ML-based validation focusing on end-to-end validation tooling and infrastructure. Responsibilities include planning and implementing advanced validation processes, defining and integrating validation tools with geometric calculations, logics, and heuristics, integrating new features into existing validation workflows, improving validation efficiency and quality, prioritizing daily tasks, and coordinating tool/algorithm integration across departments. Requires a BSc in CS or Mathematics, 3+ years in algorithm validation or software testing, proficiency in Python (NumPy/SciPy/Matplotlib/Pandas), strong data-processing and statistical knowledge (descriptive statistics, probability, statistical inference), and fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- BSc in computer science, Mathematics, or similar field
- 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and automating algorithm validation or software testing, with a focus on performance testing for complex, data-intensive, or machine-learning algorithms
- Experience with Python (NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Pandas)
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience in data processing
- Knowledge in descriptive statistics, probability, and statistical inference
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Broad vision and a systematic approach
- Thoroughness and attention to details
- Independence, ability to learn new material quickly
- Fluent English
