Job Summary
Experienced Acura Service Technician responsible for diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs to dealership and factory standards, and creating inspection videos to accompany repair recommendations. Collaborates with the parts department to procure materials, documents client repairs and materials used, and stays current with automotive diagnostic technology. Maintains safety, follows regulations, and communicates labor time estimates to the service advisor while keeping the supervisor informed of repair status. Provides top-quality service with emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, and ongoing training and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred but not required
- At least 1 year of experience in a dealership service center
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dealership and factory standards
- Ability to diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Document repairs and materials used
- Safety procedures compliance
