Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns while performing repairs according to Genesis and manufacturer specifications. Complete inspections to identify maintenance or repair recommendations, utilizing factory diagnostic equipment to produce accurate repair documentation and technician videos. Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations and maintain productivity while delivering exceptional quality. Mentor and assist apprentice and entry-level technicians when appropriate, and keep current on Genesis technology through required manufacturer training. Come to work ready to produce, believing in fixing vehicles right the first time.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications preferred, but not required
- Genesis, Hyundai, or luxury-brand experience is a plus
