Job Summary
Set up, install, test, and troubleshoot Audio/Video/Control equipment per ASW standards to create client experiences. Review drawings with the Project Manager, verify site access, and ensure all cables, hardware, and tools are available before installation. Perform minor DSP changes, load control code, and configure interactive displays while ensuring every wire is labeled and connected per documentation. Submit Daily Mission reports in PlanGrid with photo documentation, capture redlines for as-built drawings, and work with the Field Engineer on system commissioning. Maintain a clean vehicle and site, disposing of trash and leaving locations cleaner than found. Occasional after-hours work or travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service experience
- IP networking knowledge
- AV system troubleshooting skills
- Setup and connection of VTC units (Cisco, Lifesize, Polycom, etc...)
- Setup and load code into Control Systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc...)
- Setup and load code into DSP (BSS, Biamp, ClearOne, etc...)
- Install and configure Interactive displays (SMART, Planar, Newline, etc...)
- Wireless Microphone frequency coordination
- Video Wall setup and configuration
- Occasional after hours and/or travel may be required
