Job Summary
Lead Experience Research initiatives within the Open Banking team in Connected Commerce. Design and execute comprehensive research studies to uncover customer needs, preferences, and behaviors; analyze data using advanced quantitative and qualitative methods; translate insights into actionable recommendations to inform product design. Facilitate surveys and interviews with users and create user testing scenarios to refine products or features. Mentor and coach junior researchers and designers to foster a culture of learning. Monitor industry trends and incorporate innovative methodologies to stay competitive. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including UX designers, product managers, and developers to drive customer-centric decision-making and product prioritization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in generative and evaluative user experience research with strong focus on both quantitative and qualitative methods
- Proven ability to conduct ethnography, surveys, interviews, and advanced data analysis to derive insights for UX design
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced qualitative methods with evidence of implementing findings to improve product or feature design
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (UX designers, product managers, developers) to inform product prioritization and customer-centric decision-making
- Experience designing high-quality research studies with iterative mindset and adaptability to changing product design needs
