Job Summary
As a Senior Experience Research Leader (Vice President) within the Business Banking & Merchant Services space, lead and shape user experience insights across products and services. Design and execute comprehensive research studies to uncover customer needs and behaviors, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and mentor junior researchers and designers. Apply advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to assess current and future designs, create journey maps and service blueprints, and communicate methodologies and strategic recommendations to leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize product decisions, monitor industry trends, and champion user-centered decision-making across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in generative and evaluative user experience research with a strong focus on both quantitative and qualitative methods
- Proven ability to conduct ethnography, surveys, interviews, and advanced data analysis to derive actionable insights for user experience design
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced qualitative methods with evidence of implementing findings that improved product or feature design
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and developers to propel customer-centric decision-making and inform product prioritization
- Experience designing high-quality research studies with an iterative mindset and ability to adapt study parameters to changing product design needs
- Experience using UX tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Figma, Monday.com, Adobe Analytics)
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, align with stakeholders, and maximize impact and clarity of research efforts
