Experience Research - Senior Associate

Job Summary
Lead and conduct strategic UX research for cross-functional product teams in a senior capacity, identifying opportunities and gaps across product areas, planning and managing research projects to align with product roadmaps, advocating for user needs while balancing business goals, creating testing scenarios and artifacts to translate insights into actionable recommendations, driving product strategy, and mentoring junior researchers while promoting a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
- 3 - 5 years of work experience in the UX research field
- Samples of work demonstrating impactful studies (an online research portfolio or work sample links in résumé), especially on strategic UX research projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of a range of quantitative and qualitative methods, with evidence of implementing findings that improved product or feature design
- Experience in designing and executing high-quality, complex research studies with an iterative mindset, with an ability to adapt study parameters to accommodate changing product design needs
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to propel user-centric decision-making and inform product prioritization
- Ability to communicate and report research findings through artifacts and presentations
- Deep understanding of the Design Thinking methodology
- Familiarity with UX research tools (UserTesting, Dscout, etc.)
- General understanding of behavioral analytics
- Familiarity with survey design best practices
- Strong familiarity with financial domain and terminologies, especially Investment Banking / Capital Market, a plus
