Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment at WM Landfill in Morristown, IN, including bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders. Follow safety policies, conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance, move raw materials and finished components using material handling equipment, and adhere to standard operating procedures. Requires 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, 18+ years old, legal work eligibility in the United States, and successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Shift availability includes 1st and 2nd shifts (5:30am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-1:00am), with Sunday-Thursday schedule. The role is based in a landfill and involves physical work and exposure to typical site conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Preferred Experience: skid steer, small loader
