Job Summary
Forklift Operator I moves material between inventory and production, maintains correct paperwork and production records, provides production departments with material from inventory according to production schedule, bands/wraps/labels finished goods, moves finished goods from production area to inventory yard, assists with bottlenecks and material needs, performs general preventive maintenance on equipment, completes pre-shift startup checklists, keeps the inventory yard organized and clean, follows forklift rules, and participates in safety and CI programs; role involves performing other duties as required and contributing to a teamwork-driven, performance-focused warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 9th grade basic education, High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- forklift driving experience preferred
- Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred
- Successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process
- Must be at least 18 years of age
