Job Summary
Experience Design Vice President at Chase Travel leading end-to-end user experience design initiatives across web and native apps, driving strategy, research, and inclusive design practices. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives, mentors junior designers, and elevates visual and interaction design quality while shaping products in consumer e-commerce, loyalty, and travel booking domains. Owns end-to-end design from concept to launch, partnering with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable, user-centered solutions across multiple platforms. Key focus areas include accessibility, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and advocating a strong design culture with a north-star vision for customer-centric outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in user experience design or similar roles
- Demonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys such as storyboarding, wireframes, and prototypes
- Demonstrated experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines
- Experience designing for consumer-facing products with strong e-commerce or marketplace patterns
- Experience across platforms (responsive web, iOS, Android) and understanding of platform conventions
- Strong portfolio showing shipped work and impact on product outcomes
- Advanced technical literacy including understanding of client-side technologies, APIs, microservices, and technology stack components
- Ability to partner with Product and Engineering to shape solutions early and drive end-to-end design
- Mentoring or leading junior designers and fostering design culture
