Job Summary
As Experience Design Vice President at JPMorgan Wealth Management, lead the development and execution of design/research strategies for complex projects across multiple product areas. Diagram service flows, design wireframes, and prototype interactions, guiding end-to-end design initiatives within the domain. Role-model inclusive design practices and accessibility, mentor junior designers, and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience into product development, ensuring customer-centric solutions. Analyze market trends and user research data to inform design decisions and optimize experiences across platforms. Demonstrate leadership in design strategy, north star representations, and transformational innovation to align with business objectives and user needs. Proficient in advanced client-side technologies, APIs, microservices, and the broader technology stack to enhance user experiences. Preferentially includes design leadership experience, comfort with AI tools, and experience supporting B2B digital solutions and collaboration with Financial Advisors.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design or similar roles
- Demonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys (storyboarding, wireframes, prototypes)
- Experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines
- Ability to develop experiences meeting or exceeding initial proposals, with transformational innovation strategies
- Advanced technical literacy including client-side technologies, APIs, microservices, and their impact on UX
