Job Summary
Experience Design Senior Associate role focused on shaping customer experiences through UX and systems design. Responsibilities include creating screen mock-ups, user flows and prototypes; producing design documentation (wireframes, ADA and development specifications, prototypes) for development of customer-facing products; conducting data-driven analyses to inform design decisions; defining and advocating a design system across products and platforms; collaborating within a larger design team and with product managers and engineers; participating in design critiques; communicating complex concepts to non-design audiences; championing accessibility and inclusive design; contributing to JPMorgan Chase's user experience design efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, Human Computer Interface, User Experience Design), certification from credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels.
- Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g. Figma).
- Previous experience with collaboration within design teams (with other designers, UX researchers, and content designers) and cross-functionally with product managers and software engineers.
- Self-directed in both planning and structuring work, and executing at expected levels of quality.
- Advanced skills in Interaction Design as well as either Visual/UI Design or Information Architecture; Intermediate ability in adjacent skills such as User Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-design audiences using evidence and clear storytelling.
- Ability to show how your understanding of technical constraints and opportunities informed your design solutions.
