Job Summary

Steer the forefront of user experience innovation as a senior leader in Connected Banking. Lead and mentor a team of experience designers to craft end-to-end journeys, set experience principles and quality standards, and translate business objectives into user-centered designs. Advocate for inclusive design and accessibility, leverage data fluency and metrics to inform decisions, influence cross-functional executives, partner with UX Research and Content, and drive transformation through emerging technologies such as AI-enabled experiences and platform modernization. The role emphasizes guiding design strategy, stakeholder collaboration, and senior-level advice on complex customer and platform challenges within a regulated environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design with emphasis on interaction design and information architecture
  • Advanced skills in visual design, storyboarding, and data fluency for digital products and services
  • Proven leadership in guiding and mentoring diverse teams of experience designers
  • Demonstrated success in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines and assistive technology
  • Understanding of market trends, product knowledge, and technological advancements; ability to leverage emerging technologies to drive UX outcomes
  • Proven leadership of design organizations, including building high-performing teams and driving accountability for quality and results
  • Ability to operate in complex, regulated environments balancing customer needs, risk, and compliance while maintaining design excellence
  • Experience with emerging technologies (e.g., AI-enabled experiences, data-driven personalization, platform modernization) applied to customer and business problems
  • Demonstrated success driving transformation (modernizing practices, introducing new design capabilities, leading through organizational or technology change)
