Job Summary
Capture deal details from lawyers and paralegals to update transactional matter records in the firm's experience database. Draft clear, client-ready experience descriptions for pitches, proposals, and directory submissions like Chambers and Legal 500. Use AI tools to summarize, standardize, and classify transactional matters while ensuring accuracy across data, bios, and content libraries. Prepare tailored experience lists for RFPs and assist BD Managers with assembling pitch materials. Collaborate with MarTech, Communications, and Data teams to maintain consistency and compliance with confidentiality guidelines. Conduct basic research on clients and market trends to support business development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- JD preferred or transactional paralegal experience with strong knowledge of transactional terminology, deal structures, and corporate processes
- 3-6 years of experience in a law firm, professional services, or content heavy environment
- Strong writing and editing skills; ability to summarize transactional matters clearly and accurately
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with lawyers, BD colleagues, and administrative teams
- Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances
- Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
- Ability to carry light [to moderate] objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance
- Must be able to lift, carry and move objects [up to 15/20/25 lbs OR in excess of 25/30 lbs]

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CRM or experience management systems preferred (e.g., Salesforce, Foundation)
- Skilled using generative AI tools for drafting, summarizing, and content transformation
- Experience supporting transactional BD, pitches, or directory submissions
- Understanding of metadata, taxonomies, and structured content
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in developing deeper expertise in transactional BD and experience management
