Job Summary
Support shipping operations at Hunt Valve by performing data entry, printing labels, unloading products, and packaging orders for shipment. Maintain a clean facility through janitorial duties and organize the receiving & storeroom area as needed. Move parts and equipment between departments, drive a company truck for local order pickups and deliveries, and operate industrial machinery including forklifts, cranes, and saws. Utilize clerical skills for typing and navigating computers while working closely with internal departments. Maintain an organized workspace and understand workorders, purchase orders, and packing slips. This trainee role requires a valid driver's license, forklift certification, and US citizenship for NOFORN access.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to change tasks frequently
- Proficient at understanding workorders, purchase orders, and packing slips
- Able to use industrial machinery (saw, forklift, crane, hand tools)
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP knowledge, Data entry)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
- Must have a valid drivers license with excellent driving record
- US Citizenship
- Attestation that you do not have dual citizenship
