Job Summary
Expeditor responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment for projects and operations. Coordinates with suppliers to confirm order details, shipping dates, and delivery times; monitors order status and expedites deliveries to address potential delays; maintains regular communication with project management, operations teams, project procurement leads, project engineers, and logistics personnel to provide updates on manufacturing status; ensures shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates) are accurate; identifies and resolves issues that could impact the delivery schedule; evaluates supplier performance and collaborates with vendors to improve delivery times and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of the oil and gas industry supply chain
