Job Summary
Expedite vendor data, track fabrication progress, and manage the master shipping register to ensure timely delivery of goods, consumables, and tooling to site. Liaise with freight providers and site logistics teams regarding shipping matters, including oversized/overlength deliveries, while forecasting risks and advising on mitigation. Support Project Engineers in expediting matters and assist with final release inspections. Requires general knowledge of process plant equipment, understanding of shipping transport envelopes, and strong communication skills. Based in Osborne Park (moving to CBD Sept 7), with training provided on materials tracking software.
Required Qualifications
- General knowledge of equipment, tools, consumables typically used in construction of process plant
- Understanding of shipping transport envelops and overlength/oversize requirements
- Ability to liaise with freight forwarders for pricing, delivery updates and any issues
- Forecast any shipping and delivery risks and advise/mitigate accordingly
- Good communication skills
- Good word/excel skills
