Job Summary
Expeditor responsible for supporting front-of-house operations in the Longhouse restaurant: tasks include bussing, running food, assisting wait staff and barback duties, and coordinating communication between the kitchen and servers to ensure a seamless guest experience. Set up and maintain the expedition side of the line; manage server stations and drink receptacles; maintain stock of NA beverages and paper goods; assist with requisitions from the cage and warehouse; help with table maintenance, sanitation, and food safety practices; ensure knowledge of all menu offerings for consistency; assist with takeout food preparation; complete side duties such as polishing silverware, restaurant setup, and condiment filling. Requires ability to stand and move quickly for an 8-10 hour shift and to lift up to 50 lbs; smoking-environment work; starts at $17.13 per hour with potential for higher placement based on experience. Located at ilani on the Cowlitz Reservation in Ridgefield, Washington (USA).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
- Valid Food Handler’s card (onsite certification provided)
- Must be able to stand and move quickly for an 8-10-hour shift
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures
