Job Summary
The Expeditor will coordinate and distribute daily workflow in the warehouse by applying established processes, allocating resources to meet company goals, and monitoring restock volumes and order counts to assign tasks. Responsibilities include communicating with leadership and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow, training and coaching staff on production guidelines and safety, inspecting equipment at shift start, operating powered lift equipment if required, and adapting priorities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and proficiency with RF systems and internal operating software.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4-6 years prior warehouse/distribution experience
- Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
- Basic math skills in counting and quantity
- Ability to work with a positive, supportive attitude toward the Company, job, customers and co-workers
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent organization skills; multi-tasking and prioritization
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- May be required to complete SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities; rotate to other production functions as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate RF unit
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehend verbal and written instructions
- Overtime may be required
