Job Summary
Expediter responsible for managing the flow of food from kitchen to dining area, ensuring accuracy and presentation of dishes, and serving as the liaison between kitchen and front-of-house staff. Responsibilities include communicating with kitchen and FOH staff, maintaining the expediting station’s cleanliness and organization, prioritizing orders, relaying ticket times and delays, preventing errors, preparing to-go orders, and optimizing the delivery process to minimize waste. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage timing to ensure dishes are prepared and served promptly are essential.
