Job Summary
Expander role in Plascore Aramid division on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM) responsible for setting up and operating the aramid expander to produce blocks per customer and company specs. Responsibilities include startup/verification of equipment, reading work orders, transferring blocks with forklift, using overhead crane, inserting metal rods, expanding blocks to correct dimensions, measuring with rulers and tape, oven curing cycles, disassembly, quality inspection, completing paperwork, entering data into the computer system, maintaining inventory, assisting other departments, and participating in process improvements. Requires high attention to detail, mechanical inclination, ability to work OT, and ITAR eligibility. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime
- Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR ( International Traffic in Arms Regulations )
