Job Summary
Frame, prep, and expand Nomex, Kevlar, and OX blocks per shop work orders, recording expanded size, cell size, press times, and material usage. Heat set blocks using GWI programs and log labor transactions and material consumption in SAP. Perform scheduled machine preventive maintenance, apply 5S standards, and transfer expanded blocks from the B4 buffer to the B2 dipping area. Maintain a safe environment and speak, read, and write English. Must hold forklift certification and a valid California driver's license, lift 50 lbs, and be available for overtime and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Forklift Certification
- valid California Driver's License
- acceptable driving record
- ability to speak, read and write English
- ability to lift, push & pull a minimum of 50 lbs
- U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR
