Job Summary
Assist dentists with providing dental care to Union Community Care patients by welcoming them, preparing them for treatment, taking radiographs, reviewing histories, and performing procedures under direct supervision such as placing restorative materials, sealants, and fluoride varnish. Maintain the operatory and dental equipment by disinfecting surfaces, replacing barriers, restocking supplies, and tracking laboratory cases. Provide post-operative instructions, complete patient visits, and assist with administrative tasks during understaffing. Requires EFDA accreditation, radiology certification, and CPR training.

- Licensed
- License recertification every two years
- Radiology certification
- Radiology certification; recertified every four years
- CPR certified
- CPR certified; recertified every two years
- Child abuse clearance
- Child abuse clearance; re-checked every two years
- Attends fraud, waste, abuse and cultural competency classes every year
- Knowledge and familiarity with dental and medical terminology
- English proficiency
