Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Welcome patients with a smile, support the dentist with various procedures, and take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed. Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, while sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments. Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies, and undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations. Requires prior dental assisting experience and an active EFDA license in good standing.
