Job Summary
Assist dentists with patient care, including welcoming patients, reviewing health histories, taking blood pressure, and performing procedures like placing restorative materials, sealants, and fluoride treatments under direct supervision. Maintain the operatory by removing barriers, disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and managing dental equipment and sterilization protocols. Complete post-operative instructions, track laboratory cases, and support front desk operations during staffing shortages. Requires EFDA accreditation, radiology certification, and CPR; participates in mandatory meetings and cultural competency training.

- Licensed
- License recertification every two years
- Radiology certification
- Radiology certification; recertified every four years
- CPR certified

- Child abuse clearance
- Child abuse clearance; re-checked every two years
- Attends fraud, waste, abuse and cultural competency classes every year
- Knowledge and familiarity with dental and medical terminology
- English proficiency
