Job Summary
Expanded Function Dental Assistant role providing advanced dental assistance to dentists, leading and mentoring junior dental assistants, and supporting complex procedures and oral surgeries. Responsible for inventory and equipment maintenance, performing advanced duties allowed by state regulations such as placing and finishing composite restorations, coronal polishing, and taking final impressions for crown and bridge, while ensuring regulatory compliance. Participates in continuing education to stay current with industry advancements and maintains proficiency in dental software, infection control, and sterilization. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are required to excel in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment in Terre Haute, IN.
