Job Summary
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EDDA) – Full Time at Davis Dental Center in Louisville, KY. You’ll provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists, manage patient flow to keep appointments efficient, capture and process X-rays, enter treatment plans and maintain accurate patient records, sterilize equipment and maintain a clean operatory, monitor lab cases, and deliver positive patient experiences from welcome to goodbye. Requires Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certification (state-specific) and X-ray certification (or ability to obtain promptly); prior dental assistant experience preferred; coronal polishing and nitrous oxide certifications preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certification[state-specific]from an accredited school
- X-ray certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Previousexperience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Coronal polishing and Nitrous Oxide certifications preferred (but not required)
