Job Summary
Conduct dental assisting services, manage digital X-ray imaging, and chart patient records during mobile clinics at school sites. Perform coronal polishing, sterilize instruments, order supplies, and manage back office duties while maintaining vehicle and equipment condition. Travel daily to and from locations, ensuring punctual arrival and meeting deadlines. Must hold active CPR certification, EDDA and sealant certifications, and valid driver's license with a clean record. Requires at least one year of dental assisting experience and ability to lift 55 lbs. Work a standard school day schedule with evenings and weekends off.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPR certification card
- 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant (DA)
- 1+ years Digital X-ray Imaging experience
- Valid driver license, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel locally
- Works well with others (both children and adults)
- Ability to work well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task
- Must be able to carry up to 55 lbs.
- Able to walk several flights of stairs on occasion
- Must Be X-Ray Certified
- Must Be EDDA certified
- Must Be Sealant Certified
- Coronal Polishing Certified
- Must Be Fluoride Certified
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be willing to travel daily
- Ability to meet deadlines and arrive on-time each day
- Reliable, organized, punctual
- Computer skills – Microsoft office applications
- Great people skills - ability to communicate with Adults & Children
- Must have valid drivers license, clean driving record
