Job Summary
Provide acute care for time-sensitive patient needs including chest pain, abdominal pain, and post-hospital follow-ups without managing your own patient panel. Address a broad range of concerns such as laceration repair, wound care, and acute mental health triage while maintaining working knowledge of common primary care issues. Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters and stay current on evidence-based urgent care practices. Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends across our 7-day, 365-day operation from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the ability to cover two full weekends per month and major holidays. This role is based in San Francisco at our Mission Bay office, supporting One Medical's mission to transform healthcare delivery through seamless in-office and virtual services.
Required Qualifications
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages (0+)
- At least one year of experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- The ability to work at least 3 major holidays a year
- The ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts)
- The ability to work between the hours of 8am-9pm
- State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
