Job Summary
Provide care for acute medical concerns and offer same-day and next-day access to patients with time-sensitive needs without maintaining a patient panel. Address a broad range of issues including chest pain, abdominal pain, laceration repair, and acute mental health triage while staying current on evidence-based urgent care practices. Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters and manage initial changes in chronic conditions. This full-time role is based in San Francisco at the Mission Bay office, requiring availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays within an 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. schedule.
Required Qualifications
- State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages (0+)
- At least one year of experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- The ability to work at least 3 major holidays a year
- The ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts)
- The ability to work between the hours of 8am-9pm
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
