Job Summary
Provide care for acute medical concerns and offer same-day and next-day access to patients with time-sensitive needs without a patient panel. Address a broad range of issues including chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, headaches, URIs, UTIs, STI testing, laceration repair, wound care, and acute mental health triage. Stay current on evidence-based urgent care practices and complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters. This full-time role in San Francisco requires working flexible hours between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., including evenings, weekends, and two full weekends per month. Candidates must hold California state licensing and possess at least two years of recent outpatient primary or urgent care experience.
Required Qualifications
- State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages (0+)
- At least one year of experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- The ability to work at least 3 major holidays a year
- The ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts)
- The ability to work between the hours of 8am-9pm
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings (after 5 p.m.) and weekends
