Job Summary
Provide acute medical care for time-sensitive patient needs without managing a personal panel, addressing conditions ranging from chest pain and laceration repairs to acute mental health triage and post-hospital follow-ups. Maintain working knowledge of common primary care issues and complete thorough documentation for all encounters. Work flexible hours including evenings after 5 p.m. and weekends, supporting our 7-day, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. clinic schedule across all seasons. Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states. This role supports One Medical's mission to transform healthcare delivery through seamless in-office and virtual services, backed by on-site labs and programs for preventive and chronic care management.
Required Qualifications
- State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages (0+)
- At least one year of experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- The ability to work at least 3 major holidays a year
- The ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts)
- The ability to work between the hours of 8am-9pm
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
