Job Summary
Provide care for acute medical concerns and offer same-day and next-day access to patients with time-sensitive needs without managing your own patient panel. Address a broad range of concerns including chest pain, abdominal pain, headaches, UTIs, STI testing, laceration repair, wound care, and acute mental health triage while maintaining working knowledge of common primary care issues. Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters and stay up to date on evidence-based urgent care practices. Work flexible hours including evenings after 5 p.m. and weekends as clinics operate 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. 365 days per year. This full-time role is based in San Francisco at the Mission Bay office.
Required Qualifications
- State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages (0+)
- At least one year of experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- The ability to work at least 3 major holidays a year
- The ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts)
- The ability to work between the hours of 8am-9pm
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
