Job Summary
Provide acute medical care and same-day access to patients without a personal patient panel, addressing time-sensitive needs like chest pain, abdominal pain, and post-hospital follow-ups. Manage acute changes in chronic conditions, perform wound care and laceration repair, and complete thorough documentation for all encounters. Stay current on evidence-based urgent care practices while maintaining knowledge of common primary care issues. Obtain additional state licensure for virtual primary care in other states. Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends across a 365-day schedule.
Required Qualifications
- State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages (0+)
- At least one year of experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- The ability to work at least 3 major holidays a year
- The ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts)
- The ability to work between the hours of 8am-9pm
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
- State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
