Job Summary
Exhibition Developer role at CERN (SR-ECO-VIE-2026-167-GRAE) within the Visual Impact and Exhibition team. Responsibilities include supporting the development and delivery of CERN's exhibitions under the guidance of the Interactive Media Manager, developing creative content for on-site exhibitions (e.g., Science Gateway), contributing to the conception, prototyping, testing and production of exhibits for integration across CERN exhibition spaces, and participating in the evaluation of exhibit content with relevant audience groups. Qualifications emphasize experience in interactive applications for scientific visualization or education is advantageous, with skills in web development and full-stack development as a plus. English or French proficiency with a commitment to learn the other language. Eligibility requires up to two years of professional experience since graduation and a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's); PhD candidates are not eligible. The position is fully onsite in Geneva, Switzerland, a 24-month contract with potential extension, and includes a relocation package, health insurance, pension, and language training opportunities. Start date targeted for 01-September-2026, with a monthly Swiss Francs stipend between 5266-5793 CHF and various benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract
- Applicants without University degree are not eligible
- Applicants with a PhD are not eligible
- Experience in interactive applications for scientific visualization and/or education is advantageous
- Web development
- Full-stack development competences are a plus
- Spoken and written English or French, with a commitment to learn the other language
