Job Summary
Design exhibition and room environments from initial concept to final execution, developing scaled floor plans, 3D models, and detailed engineering drawings for displays, stage sets, and AV installations. Meet with clients to define themes and audiences, then create mockups and renderings for approval while collaborating with graphic designers, suppliers, and multimedia specialists. Manage project timelines, budgets, and logistics, ensuring designs comply with venue and health safety regulations before reviewing the exhibition to assess visitor engagement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in exhibition, architectural or experiential design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams
- Fluency in English language mandatory (native or C2 level)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and meeting deadlines
- Strong experience with Cinema4D and/or Vector Worx, Strata, and AutoCAD
- Proactive, positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability
- Valid passport for occasional travel to shows and events
Desired Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the trade show exhibit design process, including experience with guiding the design and fabrication teams through rendering development, material selection, and production
- Strong knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, Sketchup), with the ability to produce clear, detailed design documents and presentations
- Experience in client-facing environments, with a proven track record of turning client feedback into actionable design solutions
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute creatively and efficiently within a team while managing individual tasks
