Exhibit Technician I

The Exhibit Technician I at the Orlando Science Center is responsible for the maintenance and repair of permanent and traveling exhibits. This role requires troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across PCs, A/V devices, microcontrollers, projectors, solid-state players, and mechanical systems; use of tools such as soldering irons and multimeters; adherence to safety protocols; and documenting work in a computer database. The position works independently and may perform other related duties as assigned; it is a full-time, on-site role with weekend and after-hours events as needed.
