Job Summary
Exhibit Host responsibilities include using storytelling and improv to connect guests with animals and interpret the aquarium's mission, monitoring exhibits and instructing guests on approved interaction techniques, facilitating public interpretive programs with bio-facts and animal ambassadors, following procedures for opening/closing exhibit areas, attending safety trainings, maintaining cleanliness of work and public areas, collaborating with staff and volunteers, and delivering exceptional guest service to ensure a quality guest experience; the role supports part-time and seasonal openings at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Less than High School diploma or GED is required for consideration
- An equivalent combination of education or experience would meet the required qualifications
