Job Summary
Under direction of an Exercise Physiologist, provides quality patient care to program participants; assists in electrodiagnostic monitoring, evaluations, and administration of submaximal treadmill stress tests; adapts exercise programs to meet patient goals and provides basic education on exercise programs, health needs, and risks; records evaluation reports and discharge summaries; coordinates care with other providers and responds to emergencies; participates in program improvement and stays current with industry trends; requires BLS certification and basic EKG interpretation skills. Preferred candidate may be actively enrolled in or have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science/Kinesiology or related field.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- Basic EKG interpretation and arrhythmia detection skills (or within 6 months of hire)
