Job Summary
Under direction of an Exercise Physiologist, provide quality patient care to program participants, administer submaximal treadmill stress tests, interpret EKGs, assist with prescribed therapeutic exercises, adapt exercise programs to achieve improvement goals, complete evaluation reports and discharge summaries, maintain equipment, coordinate care with other patient care providers, respond to emergencies, and stay up-to-date on industry trends. Position requires preparing documentation, evaluating patients, and contributing to program improvement while working 8 hours weekly with a part-time schedule at Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital in Utah. Hourly rate ranges from $21.88 to $33.77, with benefits as described by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- Basic EKG interpretation and arrhythmia detection skills (or within 6 months of hire)
