Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic cardiovascular stress testing and interpret exam results to provide preliminary reports to physicians. Analyze findings following established protocols while maintaining independent scheduling within a multi-location cardiology practice. Perform duties requiring significant walking, standing, and equipment manipulation, including lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting with heavier loads. Maintain BLS certification, fluency in English, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Requires a Master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and certification eligibility within one year.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year minimum of cardiac experience
- Certified Exercise Physiologist or eligible to take the exam within one year of hire
- A Certification in Exercise Physiology
- minimum Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology
- Minimum Basic ECG Interpretation Proficiency
- Must be familiar with EMR and able to complete preliminary reports
- Maintenance of BLS certification for Healthcare workers
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English
- Compliant with HIPAA regulations
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Moving, lifting or transferring of patients or objects may involve lifting of up to 50 pounds
